Tonka Bay Lakefront Cedar Deck Replacement

This project was completed in Tonka Bay, a serene lakeside town with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The original cedar deck, totaling over 1,100 square feet, had become severely weathered over time. We removed the deteriorated boards, replaced the rim board around the perimeter, and rebuilt two staircases that connected the low-elevation deck to the yard area.

To ensure longevity and ease of maintenance, we installed pressure-treated decking and rail framing, while topping the railings with natural cedar boards to preserve a warm, natural aesthetic. The end result is a safe, refreshed, and inviting outdoor space that perfectly fits its lakeside setting.
