Rocky Harbor Composite Stair Rebuild

Rocky Harbor Composite Stair Rebuild

About this Project

As part of this project, we fully dismantled the old staircase and built a brand-new, durable stair system. We used Trex Enhance “Rocky Harbor” composite boards for a clean, maintenance-free look, paired with Westbury aluminum railings in a textured bronze finish for a sleek, modern touch.

We also replaced the fascia boards around the deck and installed a picture frame border to give the edges a polished, professional finish.

For stability and long-term durability, we poured a reinforced concrete landing pad with rebar and installed a T-shaped support post beneath the stairs to ensure they are strong and secure. The finished stair rise measured 7¾ inches, offering a safe and comfortable step height.

This build was designed to not only look great but also stand up to years of use — solid, sturdy, and built to last.
