Restoring a deck in Eden Prairie, MN

We were tasked to tear apart old deck. In the corner of the building there was a spot 10×10 where in between pavers grew moss. There weren’t deck here. We framed 10×10 ft. an addition on the place of grew moss at the corner, cleaned it all and installed weed control fabric all under the restored deck structure.

Interesting to notice that existed construction partially wasn’t attached to the building which caused it’s sinking into the ground and uneven all around. So we installed the ledge board and attached existing and some new joists to it. It gave us leveling surface for installing decking.

Since the customer’s yard was almost all in the shade, we settled on Trex Enhance Toasted Sand composite decking. The Westbury® Tuscany aluminum railing in bronze color has added a decorative and modern touch to their project. The deck size is 24 ft. by 22 ft. Customer asked us to change shape of it. It added more usable space and more natural look to the structure. Trex Enhance Toasted Sand & Westbury® Tuscany aluminum railing looks incredible. This remodeled deck increased the value of the house exponentially.

In general, we spent 2 weeks on all stages of work. Customer was looking to have her old cedar deck rebuilt for a big birthday celebration and we completed the floor in time for the party, even thou we were met with a couple of surprises under the old deck. The client was so appreciative of our commitment and quality and would highly recommend us. The deck is beautiful!

The cozy deck with modern railings will serve the Eden Prairie family as a comfortable place for relax.
