Modern Edina porch rebuilt, MN

We were tasked to replace wooden deck boards with composite decking. Traditional wood decks only have a lifespan of 10 to 15 years. Wood is highly vulnerable to moisture and weather elements, which lessens its lifespan. Therefore, at some point, a complete deck replacement will become inevitable. In our case wooden cedar boards were still in good shape but customer decided to replace them due to the special occasion.

After dismantling wooden decking we found out that framing structure around supportive posts  needs some adjustments. Customer settled on Trex Transcend Tropic Composite Deck Board (Havana Gold) and white PVC fascia. Picture board framing all around the porch and widening stair step has added a decorative and modern touch to the project. This remodeled porch increased the value of the house exponentially.

In general, we spent 1 week on all stages of work. Customer was looking to have her old cedar deck replaced for a special occasion and we completed the floor in time for the party, even thou we were met with a couple of surprises under the old decking. The client was so appreciative of our commitment and quality and would highly recommend us. Modern porch in Edina is beautiful!
